Yoga originated in India around 5000 years ago. It is a practice that combines exercise, meditation and controlled breathing. Its purpose is to strengthen the mental, physical and spiritual in order to quieten the mind and feel more at peace in our day-to-day lives. Although there are many variations of yoga, each of them seek to cultivate health and well-being.
